Dear members, The Helen Renton Memorial ride will take place on Sat 14th August. Please see the news section for full details and how to let Alex know which group you intend to ride in (preferrably before 9th Aug)

9:10 for GROUP 1 (21 mph+ group, slower in winter)

09:15 for GROUP 2 (20 mph group, slower in winter)

09:17 for GROUP 3 (18-19 mph group, slower in winter)

09:20 for GROUP 4 (17-18 mph group)

09:22 Social Group (14-16 mph)

Detailed Route 
QoS Arena – caution traffic when leaving town – Lochfield Rd – Terregles St. – Victoria Ave/Albert Rd – Castle Douglas Rd – New Abbey Rd – New Abbey – A710 – Colvend – Dalbeattie – turn LEFT to go over bridge (traffic lights) – Turn LEFT through traffic lights onto A711 – turn RIGHT onto B736 towards Gelston – before Gelston turn RIGHT to stay on B736 and head to Castle Douglas – in Castle Douglas turn RIGHT onto Queen St – at roundabout take 2nd exit for Ernespie Rd – go straight through next roundabout – turn RIGHT onto Military Rd – Haugh of Urr – Milton – Lochfoot – Cargenbridge – Dumfries.
