Detailed Route 
QoS Arena – caution traffic when leaving town – Lochfield Rd – Terregles St – Terregles Rd – Terregles village – Shawhead – Crocketford – Caution joining A75 then turn RIGHT onto A712 – Corsock – Turn RIGHT in Corsock for Moniaive – Loch Urr – Caution on descent towards A702 (livestock on road, cattlegrids and bends) – join A702 by turning RIGHT towards Moniaive – Moniaive – turn RIGHT in Moniaive towards Thornhill – A702 (Clone Rd) – Clone Hill – Penpont – turn RIGHT in Penpont – Keir – Barndennoch – turn RIGHT down into Glenmidge (fast short descent with sharp RIGHT turn) – follow road to Dunscore – join B729 – Dunscore climb / descent – Newbridge – Irongray Rd – turn RIGHT for Nunwood Rd – turn LEFT onto Hardthorn Rd – Dumfries.
