UCI Para-Cycling World Champs- Dumfries - volunteers needed (paid)

Hi Shaun,

 I hope you’re well? I found your contact details on Dumfries CC website and wanted to get in touch in the hope you might be able to help us.

I’m the Sport Manager for the upcoming Para-Cycling World Champs taking place in Dumfries and have some event roles needing filling. The role is ‘Flag and Whistle’ staff, I’m sure you’ve seen them on other races but they act as a safety resource to mark key positions on the route for the cyclists. I’m hoping you would have some cycle race savvy members who might be keen to get involved with this?

Below is how many staff we require each day. The first line is red as it still TBC.

We would pay a fee for each person per day of £125.00. Each role would have a set location to flag riders around hazards or obstacles identified in our planning process. 

We would brief and train each role and then work with you to make transport plans to each location.
