QoS Arena – caution traffic when leaving town – Lochfield Rd – Glasgow St – Buccleuch St – Whitesands – St.Michaels St – Bankend Rd – Bankend – turn LEFT at Bankend for the B725 – at junction with B724 turn LEFT into Clarencefield – turn RIGHT for Dalton just out the village – caution when crossing A75 – Carrutherstown – Dalton – turn LEFT in Dalton to follow B7020 – after half a mile turn RIGHT for Lockerbie – after crossing the River Annan take the second RIGHT for Lockerbie (1st turning is for ‘cemetery’) – continue on road – cross over the M74 flyover – cross straightover the roundabout for Lockerbie town centre – turn RIGHT up Bridge St. (over railway) – turn/keep RIGHT to follow B7068 – Bankshill – continue on B7068 for 7 miles then turn LEFT at Paddockhole over the bridge – then turn RIGHT (signposted Eskdalemuir and Westerkirk) – after 5 miles (Bailiehill) take a LEFT at the junction – Castle O’er – Eskdalemuir – Eskdalemuir Hub Café (café stop) RETURN ROUTE – Eskdalemuir (B709) – turn RIGHT onto the B723 – Boreland – Sibbaldbie – follow signs for Millhousebridge – at junction turn RIGHT then follow Breckenry Rd over the M74 flyover towards Millhousebridge – turn RIGHT onto Gallaberry Rd – Millhousebridge – Templand – Amisfield – Locharbriggs – Heathhall – Dumfries.
